Since the beginning QParks stands for constant park quality but also the list of events in the QParks portfolio has reached in the meanwhile impressive scales. Beside the O'Neill Pleasure Jam there are other series of contests which follow the goal to give motivated youngsters the chance to get a foothold in the freestyle scene.
Therefore we have the best requirements for starting a freestyle tour – we put our heads together and decided to make the next move to offer young and talented riders out there a spring board for a carrier as a freestyle pro. From now on the QParks Tour is reality and we are looking forward to a series of cool events – now it’s up to you to show your skills and draw attention to the scene. It might sound a bit banal but one thing about the QParks tour is crystal clear: action speaks louder than words!
The QParks Tour is an international freestyle tour, which will last the whole winter season and takes place in selected snowparks in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. All stops are open contests for Freeskiers and Snowboarders in the categories men, women and rookies.
Especially for talented young bloods the QParks Tour is a perfect opportunity to jump into the spotlight of the scene. Freestylers can battle with other riders, snap new tricks and expand contacts to people from the scene. Also as a viewer you should not miss those events, as most of the stops offer beside the contest action a nice side program with BBQ, DJ-sound and public film and photo sessions.
Beside tons of cool goodies from the sponsors all riders have the chance to win sick prize money! The winners of each tour stop qualify automatically for the huge finals of the QParks Tour which will take place at the end of the season!
All QParks Tour stops are qualification events for the big final at the end of the season. The goal is to collect as much points as possible.
ATTENTION - QParks Tour 2012/13 with new points system
In comparison to the last two years all riders can collect QParks tour points down to the 30th place this season. Frequent QParks Tour riders can collect many points even tough one contest doesn't work out that good! Here you can see the new points system:

If two or more rider have the same score after the tour finals, the one who took part at the most tour stops is going to be ahead.
Overall winners of the QParks Tour of each categories are those who gathered the most points in the qualifications and the tour final.
There´s going to be just a rookie category if there are at least 3 riders at the start.
Rookies all all riders that are born in 1997 or later.
For all contest participants there are no entry fees. The riders get the starting numbers on site at the registration. The starting number has to be worn visible at the right upper arm.
