What exactly is the QParks Tour?

The QParks Tour is an international freestyle tour, which will last the whole winter season and takes place in selected snowparks in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. All stops are open contests for Freeskiers and Snowboarders in the categories men, women and rookies.

How many tour stops are there?

For the season 2012/2013 following events are planned:

How does the riders voting work?

All riders who registrate for a tour stop,  are able to take part at the Riders Voting. User vote for their favorite riders via an application on the qparks.com website. The rider who gains the most votes at the end of the tour wins a sick prize. Furthermore also all users who join the voting can win sweet prices.

What is the "Best Trick"?

At every QParks Tour stop the judges also look for the "Best Trick" of the day which can come from qualifications as well as the finals!

How can I register?

You can register online here. Beside that there is also the possibility to registrate on site at the event.

Are there any contest fees?

No, the contest participation for all riders is FREE.

How old do I have to be to join the rookie category?

All riders that are born in 1997 (and younger) can participate at the rookies category.

Is there always a rookies category at every contest?

There´s going to be just a rookie category if there are at least 3 riders at the start.

How many judges do you have and what are the judging criterias?

For each tour stop we have at least 2 snowboard and 2 freeski judges. The judging is based on an consistent point system.

What can I win?

At each tour stop there is prize money to win but also material prizes of the sponsors. The amount of prize money varies at each tour stop. Altogether you can win a huge prize money of EUR 40.000.-, loads of goodies as well as qualifying spots for other events.

What happens if someone has the same score?

If two or more rider have the same score after the tour finals, the one who took part at the most tour stops is going to be ahead.

How is the contest format?

Each tour stop is different, thus also the contest format which can be Slopestyle, Big Air or Jibaction. Also the contest procedure changes, so you’ll find classic qualifying rounds with finals but also bare-knuckle head to head systems. Do I have to wear a helmet?

Helmets are required for all Rookies! We also recommend all other riders to wear helmets but of course we can’t force anyone.
Exception: QParks Tourstop „La Freestyla“ (Snowpark Alta Badia) and "Battle ROJal Schöneben" (Snowpark Schöneben): In Italy helmets are required for EVERYBODY!
