The King and Queen of the Battle Rojal Schöneben were crowned!

Even in the early morning of the contest day, riders and spectators alike felt it a tad hard to relax, despite a flawlessly blue sky and loads of sunshine. The biting cold was the culprit, making the contest day anything but cosy, with the thermometre indicating an unbelievable -19 degrees centigrade! ! Even after the first run, however, it became clear that the ridersoutbraved the cold with hot jumps. Small wonder: the riders were batteling for valuable Qparks Tour credits. 1,500 Euros of prize money and massive Rhythm and TSG goodies!

Luckily, the champagne hadn’t been frozen solid yet, so the winners of the battle ROJal were able to pop the corks at the prize giving! Jonel Fricke, resident in Innsbruck, managed to snatch the crown, Ines Klaasen from Italy came in first among the snowboard ladies. Jonel Fricke on his victory: “The tourstop was just great, and it was loads of fun! That’s probably why I was so successful and managed to come in first! I really enjoyed my runs and to all riders out there I can only recommend taking part in the next tourstop! It really pays off!” Florian Galler from Autria came in second in the men’s contest and additionally managed to win the Best Trick Snowboard!

Der QParks Tourstop im Snowpark Schöneben war ein unvergessliches Ereignis, das in die Geschichte des Freestyles eingehen wird und wir dürfen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr freuen, wenn es wieder heißt: „Wer wird der König und die Königin des Battle ROJal Schöneben?“

Ein riesen Dankeschön gebührt mit Sicherheit auch der Park-Crew, denn diese servierte für das rojale Battle einen perfekt geshapten Playground und war den ganzen Tag über mit ihren Ski-Doos zur Stelle, um das Contest-Team tatkräftig zu unterstützen!
