With unbelievable 904 votes the useres voted Panka to their most popular rider of the QParks Tour 2011/2012! Now Panka can not only be happy about her increasing popularity, but also about the 2-weeks Balicamp in the surfparadise including lodging, surf coaching, board rental and food.
Hey Panka, congratulations for your win of the 2-week stay at the Balicamp and the title “Most Popular Rider” of the Tour. What did you do to collect so many votes?
“Well I told all my friends to vote for me and that they should tell their friends as well. Many of them posted it on Facebook and I even created an event for it… it was quite lot of work but it paid off in the end.”
Were you scared of Fabian Braitsch when he caught up and even had more votes than you meanwhile?
“I would say I wasn’t scared or so, it was exciting, always checking Facebook, collecting new ideas…it was quite funny.”
You don’t surf, do you? Why do you want to learn it?
“I have never tried so far. It was always a dream for me. Beach, sun, sea…from winter into the summer!”
Now you can call yourself “Most Popular Rider” of the QParks Tour 2011/12. As you ride the finals as well – how are your chances to grab the crown of the QParks Snowboard Tour in the Ladies category?
“It is always hard to say, it depends how the other girls ride and how I feel on that day. I think positive and I will do my best to win!!”
And in the end…
“…I wanna thank my family, friends, Katalin Prommer and all those who helped or voted for me!!!! You are wonderful!!!”
Thanks Panka for the interview! Have fun in Bali with your first surf attempts – hang loose!
