The teasers are dropping, the glaciers are opening and the leaves are falling. It can only ever mean one thing: It’s getting closer to snow blanketing our fair lands. With park plans already set in stone, it’s time to turn attention to the QParks Snowboard Tour, which will once again be hosted across Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy this winter. It’s back and bigger than ever with 11 stops planned over the next 5 months with EUR 40.000 up for grabs. Not bad for playing the Game of Fame.
What a day it was high up on the peaks of Dachstein for the 11th edition of the O’Neill Pleasure Jam. With blue skies stretching across the continent and not a hint of wind, it was Sven Thorgren and Isabel Derungs that were crowned the champions of the O’Neill Pleasure Jam over the other 100+ riders from across the globe that had descended upon Superpark Dachstein to kick off the 2013/14 season of the World Snowboard Tour.
The days are shortening, the nights are longer and the first flakes of snow are falling across the globe to the joy of snowboarders worldwide. It’s just a few weeks away from the O’Neill Pleasure Jam 2013 and there’s a heavy hitting roster of riders lined up hailing from the upper echelons of the snowboarding elite, right down to the fresh faced rookies ready to cut their teeth at their first 4 star WST competition. But it’s not just the competition killers that’ll get a chance at the throne; the winners of the Video Challenge are battling it out on the web to get their invite to the O’Neill Pleasure Jam 2013!
The Dachstein Glacier calls out for the 11th edition of the O’Neill Pleasure Jam 2013 from the 8th to the 10th of November. As always, there’s 20,000 USD up for grabs at the first 4Star World Snowboard Tour slopestyle competition of the season and the first stop of the QParks Snowboard Tour for riders to battle it out for.
